How we got here..

Over the past twenty 20 years, Ayse has been working with software companies at strategic junctions, mostly with mature/growth phase product positions and predominantly in telecom and airline industries, shaping and running their - sometimes multiple, strategic pathways.

During this period, guided by the priorities of their board and focusing on their capabilities, offerings, traction, eco-system opportunities as well as market conditions, Ayse helped crystallise pathway alternatives for such organisations, and worked with their board and the executive team in securing the most optimum results in ever changing market conditions.

She raised close to 100M USD for these organisations by providing the spectrum of services required for the process. Some of these efforts resulted in divisional/partial/full exits, some in spin-offs and others raised additional funds for commercialisation and expansion. While most of these organisations were mature or growth stage organisations, few were start-ups.

Prior to specialising in corporate strategies for technology companies, Ayse worked in the software industry for over 15 years. She worked for Lend Lease Group, IBM Global Services and AMPlus in Australia as a software engineer, architect and later, as a development manager, serving banking and finance corporate clients. She then worked for several early-stage telecom technology companies overseas, running various divisions from business development to sales and strategies.

Based in Sydney with a footprint in Silicon Valley and in Turkey, Ayse brings together eco-systems of distant locations and the distinctly different yet complementing experiences: on one side, the order, methodologies, diligence, and business processes of multi-national, global organisations and on the other, the speed, creativity, resilience, adaptability, agility, and resourcefulness of growth-stage companies. Right in the intersection, she makes the greatest contribution for growth and success beyond projected outcomes.

Her life-long career in innovation, technology and commercialisation of technology companies of different shapes and sizes is complemented by her interest in national innovation policies at the backdrop of international relations and implications of global trends. In this respect, she considers that measures to achieve national aspirations against the towering challenges of global settings must be just as creative and multi-dimensional.

Ayse is a connector of ideas, cultures, places, industries and of people. She has faith in the positive and trust in hard work. She considers that her greatest achievement to date is to raise three brilliant children as a single mother working full time in demanding roles across continents.
